Hugo Eau De Toilette

The original green-bottle Hugo is a landmark 1990s aromatic green fougère, opening on a crisp, juicy green-apple and grapefruit accord over herbal mint and basil. The heart adds lavender, sage and geranium for a classic barbershop-aromatic feel, drying down to a coniferous pine-and-fir woody base with cedar, sandalwood and musk that gives it its signature 'fresh outdoors' character. It is clean, energetic and unmistakably retro-fresh, a sporty daytime staple that helped define the decade. As an EDT the performance is moderate and skin-close after a couple of hours, so it is best treated as a fresh spring/summer daily scent rather than a heavy projector.
