A distinct 2019 reworking of the Intense Café DNA rather than merely the same juice bottled stronger. Fragrantica lists it as its own composition and the pyramid confirms it. Ristretto pushes the coffee darker and more roasted, layers in a rich caramel and a woody spine, and leans sweeter and more dessert-forward than the original EDP, whose base is a simpler amber-vanilla-musk. The rose is still present but now plays support to a gooey caramel-espresso accord. As an extrait the concentration is beastly: expect all-day-plus longevity and room-filling projection from a single spray. Choose this over the EDP if you want the sweeter, caramelized, cold-weather interpretation.
