A melancholic, windswept amber-oceanic floral defined by dry broom (genet), lichen and a warm amber-vanilla base rather than a fresh aquatic accord. Often called the smell of the desert meeting the sea, it is dry, slightly bitter and powdery, with mandarin and peony brightening a hazy broom-and-lichen heart. Distinctive and polarising: people either find it hauntingly beautiful or too soapy-medicinal. Strong performance, especially in vintage bottles, and completely different in character from Dune pour Homme.
