Ô d'Azur is a bright, Mediterranean-inspired citrus-floral flanker of the classic Ô de Lancôme. It opens on sparkling bergamot and lemon caviar, then settles into a soft, dewy floral heart of rose, peony and lychee before a clean musk-and-woods base. The overall effect is fresh, feminine and easygoing, very much a warm-weather daytime scent. Its main weakness is performance: like most fresh EDT flankers it is light and fleeting, typically fading within a few hours with close-to-skin projection. It is not so much polarising as unremarkable, sometimes criticised as generic next to more distinctive summer florals, but it is inoffensive and pleasant for casual wear.
