Despite the shared name, Noir Extreme is almost nothing like the original Noir: it is a warm, spicy amber-gourmand built on cardamom, saffron and a milky-sweet kulfi (Indian dessert) accord layered over amber, sandalwood and vanilla. The effect is cozy, nutty and dessert-like without tipping fully sugary, which is why it became one of Tom Ford's most reliable crowd-pleasers and date-night picks. Performance is excellent, easily 8–10+ hours with heavy projection, so apply sparingly.
