The modern Gentleman in EDP form is a warm, powdery-spicy scent built around a creamy iris heart wrapped in black pepper, lavender and a rich black-vanilla-and-tolu base. It reads refined and lightly gourmand without ever turning sweet or sugary, polished cool-weather elegance rather than a crowd-pleasing candy bomb. Performance is a genuine strength: expect 7–9 hours on skin with moderate-to-strong projection the first few hours before it settles closer to the body.
