His Highness Green is a classic dark-green aromatic fougère, widely regarded as an excellent Ralph Lauren Polo Green alternative (with better performance), and reminiscent of Lalique Equus and Gucci Nobile. Bergamot, cypress and lavender open crisp and herbal, a heart of black pepper, galbanum, cedarwood and petitgrain gives it that sharp, sappy green backbone, and a base of oud, leather and oakmoss makes the drydown mature, woody and refined. Distinguished, gentlemanly and "smell like the CEO", a traditional, well-blended green scent for a grown man. Masculine; best for autumn and winter, with beastly longevity and projection. Note: the green/herbal opening is bold and a touch sharp. It's not a blind-buy for fans of sweet modern scents.
