Layton Exclusif is a distinct, darker and spicier reworking of Layton, not a mere concentration bump. The apple-bergamot brightness is still there up top (now with grapefruit), but the heart adds warm cinnamon and a smoky agarwood, and the base swaps Layton's cozy sweetness for a drier, earthier cypriol, guaiac wood and patchouli signature over vanilla. The result is heavier, more mature and more oud-adjacent, with very strong 8-plus-hour performance and heavy sillage. Better suited to cold weather and evening wear than the original.
