A distinct Eau de Parfum reworking of the famous La Nuit de l'Homme, not simply a stronger EDT. It keeps the signature spicy cardamom heart but adds a grapefruit lift up top and a leather accent in the middle, drying warmer and creamier over tonka, sandalwood and patchouli. The result is richer and more nocturnal than the EDT, with better longevity and stronger projection, though it loses a little of the EDT's addictive sweet-spicy simplicity. A polished evening scent; the leather-cardamom combination is its defining, slightly polarising twist. Note: this EDP is far less reviewed than the classic 2009 EDT.
