1 Million Parfum reinterprets the original as a salty, solar, creamy-leather scent, the most unusual member of the family. A bitter grapefruit-and-cardamom top gives way to an unexpected salty-solar tuberose heart, then a prominent smooth-leather base rounded with amber, cashmeran and resinous labdanum. The effect is a spicy-oriental leather crossed with a sunny, almost beachy skin-scent, distinctly different from Royal's fresh fougère and Elixir's sweet fruity-gourmand. Heavy and enveloping with excellent performance; polarising because the salty-floral leather accord isn't for everyone.
