Ornament Purple Allure is a fruity, green-anise musk, often called a raspberry-tinged take on Mugler Aura. Juicy raspberry, mandarin and grapefruit open bright and a little tart, a heart of toffee-sweet notes, white flowers, anise and cardamom brings a green, licorice-y twist, and a base of musk, patchouli and vanilla dries it down soft and sweet (fruity gumdrops and vanilla). Distinctive and a bit "funky-green" in the best way. Feminine; versatile across spring and fall. Note: like Aura, it's polarising. The anise/green medicinal facet up top divides people, and it needs about an hour to settle into its sweeter self; performance runs moderate.
