Pure Oudi (Khalis Oudi) is a smooth, woody oud with creamy sweetness, essentially a less-sweet, woodier cousin to Lattafa's Raghba (reviewers describe it as a blend of Raghba and Ameer Al Oudh). Oud, cinnamon and nutmeg open warm and lightly spicy, a heart of jasmine and creamy sandalwood softens it, and a base of amber, guaiac wood, vanilla, musk and cedar dries down smoky, resinous and gently sweet. The guaiac and oud give a mild, slightly animalic, sultry woodiness without the syrupy sweetness of Raghba, very wearable and accessible for an oud. Masculine-leaning but wears unisex, with quieter-than-Raghba but still solid projection. Best for autumn and winter. (This set includes a matching deodorant spray.)
