Lattafa Raed Oud EDP 3.4 oz

Raed Oud is a bold, dry leather-and-oud scent with a smoky incense heart, one of the more assertive, characterful entries in Lattafa's Ra'ed line. Saffron, lavender and bergamot open bright and spicy, a heart of earthy cypriol (nagarmotha), incense and a touch of rose adds smoke and depth, and a base of leather, oud, sandalwood and amber gives a rich, resinous, slightly animalic drydown. A Western interpretation of the suede-incense-oud genre, elegant but with rough, uncompromising edges, rather than a crowd-pleasing sweet oud. Leans masculine, with beast-mode projection and long wear; best for autumn, winter and evenings. Note: despite occasional comparisons, it is not a La Nuit de L'Homme dupe. It goes its own darker direction.
