Cloud Intense (a.k.a. Cloud 2.0 Intense) takes the original's whipped-cream-and-praline DNA and deepens it with an amber-woody base of cashmeran, ambroxan and musk, making it warmer, richer and considerably more potent. The pear-and-lavender opening still nods to the first Cloud, but the drydown trades some of the airy sweetness for a cozy, skin-hugging warmth. It is the stronger performer of the two, bigger sillage, longer wear, and a better cold-weather pick. Fans of the original are split: some love the added depth, while purists find it loses the fluffy, ethereal cloud character that made the first one special. Fragrantica dates the launch to 2021; it was marketed more widely in 2022.
