Edict Ouddiction is a smoky, niche-style leather-oud, dark, rich and beautifully balanced. Agarwood, lavender, saffron and bergamot open aromatic and resinous, a heart of tobacco, tonka, sandalwood, cedar and geranium adds warmth and a little sweetness, and a base of leather, Brazilian rosewood, amber, vetiver and patchouli gives a deep smoky-leather drydown with serious staying power (the oud lingers 15+ hours). Bold and characterful rather than crowd-pleasing, a Western-friendly oud that keeps the oud honest (loosely in the territory of Versace Oud Noir, but its own thing). Unisex, leaning masculine; an evening, cool-weather scent for oud-and-leather lovers. Note: it's a bold smoky-leather-oud, not office-friendly for the note-shy, and best sampled if you're new to oud.
