Taraf Black is a sweet, smoky saffron-oud rose in the classic Arabic style. A pungent saffron, bergamot and oud opening softens over a heart of rose, sugar and amber, and a base of white musk, oakmoss and tonka gives a warm, slightly mossy drydown. Rich and characterful, the saffron-oud-rose archetype done sweet. Fragrantica lists it for men, though it wears easily unisex; best in fall and winter. Note: the saffron-oud opening can read medicinal for a few minutes before the rose-and-sugar takes over.
