Good Fortune Elixir Intense is the deeper, smokier reworking of the original: it opens with uplifting incense, moves through the same intoxicating jasmine super-infusion, and dries down over a palo santo accord laced with rich bourbon vanilla and creamy sandalwood. Compared to the honeyed original it trades some of the sweet, sticky warmth for a resinous, woody character, making it darker and more sensual. Performance is excellent, even stronger than the standard EDP, with beast-mode projection early on and easily 10-plus hours of wear. Incense-and-woods lovers rate it a richer upgrade, while fans of the original's fruity-honey sweetness sometimes find the smoky palo santo drier. A cold-weather, evening statement scent.
