Lattafa Ramaad Al Oud EDP 3.4 oz

Ramaad Al Oud is a dry, smoky "charred wood" oud. Ramaad literally means "ashes," and that's exactly the vibe. It opens fresh-spicy with pink pepper, bergamot and tart blackcurrant, then moves into a smoky, bone-dry heart of oud, patchouli and a whisper of caramel and peony, with a base of light amber and raspberry adding a subtle sweetness underneath the smoke. The effect is oud burning in a small fire with an incense stick nearby, dry, resinous, slightly rubbery and green, with just enough sweetness woven in. Distinctive and enigmatic rather than crowd-pleasing (closest in spirit to Lattafa's own Musamam, not a designer dupe). Strong projection and long wear; a statement scent for cold nights. Note: the listed notes read sweeter than it actually wears, expect dry smoke, not a fruity gourmand.
