Safwaan L'autre Oud is a powdery suede-and-oud rose, an accessible, wearable oud for those new to the genre. Rose opens soft and lightly sweet, a spicy-amber heart adds warmth, and a base of oud and dry woods gives a powdery, suede-like finish. It's not sweet or gourmand, more of a refined, powdery woody-rose than a heavy medicinal oud (reviewers liken it to a powdery, rose-swapped take on Lattafa's own Ameer Al Oudh). Elegant and unisex; best for autumn and winter. Note: the powdery notes can turn cloying if oversprayed, a little goes a long way. (This is the Oud sibling to Safwaan L'autre Musk.)
