Réserve Privée pushes the Gentleman DNA toward a boozy, ambery luxe: a Scotch-whisky-and-bergamot opening over a powdery iris-and-chestnut heart, drying down to vetiver, patchouli and cedar. It is the plushest, most expensive-smelling flanker in the line — warm, faintly sweet and powdery rather than sharp or aggressive. Longevity is excellent at 7–9+ hours with moderate-to-strong sillage. Strictly a cold-weather, dressed-up scent; the whisky note is what keeps it from reading generic. A strong pick if you want the Gentleman character with more depth and refinement.
