Art of Wood is a fresh, citrusy-woody scent with a vanilla twist, a budget Parfums de Marly Perseus (some prefer it, finding the base rounder). Zesty grapefruit, bergamot and pink pepper open bright and a little peppery, a heart of cedarwood, patchouli and rose adds earthy depth, and a base of vetiver, oakmoss and vanilla dries down noble and slightly sweet. Mature and elegant, drier than most Lattafas but with just enough sweetness to stay approachable. Great for warm weather and daytime. Note: the vanilla can amp up and read sweeter in heat.
