Delphinus is Creed's celestial woody amber from the Constellation collection, opening on a smoky curl of incense laced with black and pink pepper and a whisper of almond. The heart turns soft and floral-powdery, with heliotrope, orchid and creamy orris butter lending an elegant, slightly gourmand smoothness. It dries down warm and resinous over amberwood, tonka, leather and bourbon vanilla for a plush, skin-hugging finish. Cozy and refined rather than loud, it leans cold-weather and evening. A polished, versatile amber that reads unisex despite its powdery softness. As a very recent release, note coverage is still thin.
