Tharwah Gold is a candied orange-blossom floral in the YSL Libre / Givenchy L'Interdit lane, sweet, bright and sophisticated. Lavender and bergamot open fresh and aromatic, a heart of candied orange blossom and Egyptian jasmine turns into a soft, slightly bubblegum-tuberose floral, and a base of vanilla, amber and vetiver adds a warm, powdery sweetness. Loud but airy, it "commands attention quietly" and reads more expensive than it is, without the heavy musk of many Middle-Eastern florals. Leans feminine; best for autumn and winter. Note: give it a couple weeks to mature, as it can lean candied/syrupy.
